Casting Distinctions :: CR99 220926

CR99 Broken Arm

“Ah, Richard. You’re home. I didn’t hear you come in.”

“Because I was trying to sneak in.”

“Really?  Why would that be? Let me guess. Your mom was right?”

“Okay, yes you were. What do you want me to say?”

“Tell me about your poor broken arm and tiny little cast.”

“Fine. I have nothing to complain about compared to cousin Holly. I hadn’t heard about her car accident or being stuck in a full body cast for a thousand weeks. How does she even go to the bathroom in that thing?”

“Trust me – you don’t want to know.”

    1. You should thank the goddess of those 99 words. For the lack of that rule I may have yielded to the temptation of having mom torture her son with a detailed answer 😱 😲 🤮 👅

    1. H Shari, I almost feel like I cheated on this one. I had a friend in High School whose older sister, Holly, became the inspiration for my 99-word response. But everything else about my story was fiction.
      Thanks for giving it a read..
