Good day all,

Our situation here requires I be very brief.

If we were meeting here for coffee, I’d quickly drag you inside out of the smoky air, verify that you’re breathing okay and set you up with a dust mask or
Benadryl pill as indicated.

kincade fire jpgIf you follow the US news, you no do doubt have read about the Kincade fire in Sonoma County.  That fire is about a 20 minute drive north of our home and while we are not evacuated, we are without power which is proving inconvenient.  Given that some are losing  their home for the second time in 2 years, I have no complaints other than I miss what I would have been doing last weekend and am unable to do my work-from-home job today.

So, our visit would be short because I’d want you to get someplace safer with cleaner air.

I’m very glad you stopped by and I’ll be getting over your venues, soon,  just not today most likely.

Stay safe out there all and, to quote a favorite blogger, “Hug Everyone You Know“.  If you pause long enough to think about it, your family, friends and other relationships are the most valuable things you have.

  1. I saw the fires on the news…
Being 20minutes away from such an inferno sounds cutting it close, hows the smoke/smog/ash?
losing a home twice in less than two years is the kind of soul draining stuff nightmares are made of.
    Stay safe
