I can’t stand lizards of any kind! So I’m amazed at your patience with them

Hahaha – yes, I’ve heard from many who can’t imagine touching lizards. They’re too much like snakes which many seem to have instinctive fear of. Not as bad a spiders or (for some) dentists, but I get it. I just glad you’re willing to read some of my lizard updates but you have my word, this type of lizard is fully harmless. They could not hurt us if they tried, no teeth, no ability to poison, they have tiny claws but are so weak that they can’t even scratch us. When I had that little guy in-hand, I could not even feel him there. If I were not looking at him, I would not have known he was even there. I’ve even held full grown adults and they too are too light to have any weight in our hands. So, I’ve learned to enjoy them and appreciate how they reduce the insects population in our yard.

Still I wouldn’t touch them no matter how harmless they are.
